Will SBKD3 Work With My Existing Bed?

Measure the frame's usable inside dimensions, not its outside dimensions. Check center rails, drawers, slats, headboard and footboard clearance, and the final mattress height. Zero clearance does not mean universal compatibility with every storage bed or platform.

The mattress must also be approved for adjustable-base use. Confirm the specific model and size before ordering. Headboard and footboard attachment hardware may be additional purchases; verify the required brackets and mounting arrangement.

King, Split King, and Split California King

A standard split king uses two Twin XL mattresses and two matching base sections. Separate controls can allow each side to move independently when the complete setup supports that operation. A one-piece king mattress needs an appropriate synchronized arrangement instead.

Split California king dimensions differ from Twin XL. Check the selected option, number of pieces included, mattress dimensions, and desired control arrangement. A split-head mattress is not interchangeable with two fully separate mattresses.

Warranty and Setup

The SBKD3 is listed with a 10-year limited warranty, including a 1-year full warranty and a 2-year motor warranty. Coverage changes over time and has conditions.
