Choose the SBKD3 adjustable base when positioning is the main goal and those extras are not important. Choose SBKDP2 when you expect to use them regularly. A more feature-rich base does not automatically make a mattress more supportive or a better fit.

Check Your Mattress and Bed Frame First

Confirm that your specific mattress is approved for an adjustable base. Measure the frame's usable inside width and length, and check center rails, storage drawers, slats, and movement clearance. Zero clearance does not mean the base fits every platform or storage bed.

Headboard and footboard brackets are available as add-ons. Confirm the bracket type and whether additional hardware is needed for your frame. Check the combined height of the base, legs, and mattress so the finished bed is comfortable to enter and exit.

Choose the Correct King or Split Configuration

A standard split king generally uses two Twin XL mattresses with two matching base sections. Independent operation depends on the complete configuration. A single king mattress requires a suitable synchronized setup, rather than independently bending one side.

Split-head queen, full split king, and split California king are different arrangements. Before ordering, confirm the selected size, number of base pieces, matching mattress dimensions, and whether the head and foot sections will move independently or together. Do not assume an accessory for one arrangement is included with another.

The published warranty includes a 1-year full warranty, a 2-year motor warranty, subsequent limited motor coverage, and a 10-year limited warranty with conditions and prorated coverage in later years.
